// Keren Minshull

Keren Minshull
Legendary songstress Keren Minshull is instantly recognisable by her rich, distinctive voice.

Keren was the voice behind 90's dance act Euphoria who dominated the Australian Charts with the international hit singles Love You Right and One In A Million as well as the smash album Total Euphoria. Whilst Keren is probably most well-remembered for her Euphoria days, her body of work is extensive and delves into many facets of the entertainment industry.

The daughter of a big-band jazz trombonist, Keren grew up listening to everything from bebop to Motown. She sang in a church choir and was fascinated by pop music, absorbing the classics, be it Bach or the Beatles, Joni Mitchell or Deep Purple, Stevie Wonder or Streisand. With such a huge variety of influential styles, Keren has developed a unique sound that is both timeless and contemporary.

Keren's versatility becomes obvious when you view her unique and full resume; top female session vocalist for radio / tv jingles, nightclub singer in Australian drama series, lead-role in the musical-comedy satire Boogie Fever and was signed to a publishing deal by Warner-Chappell Music Australia after a recommendation by well-respected international producer, Dick Rudolph.

Keren’s time from 1991 to 1993 was spent fronting Australian trio Euphoria. Acclaimed as Australia's first 'dance' group,  Euphoria had two consecutive No.1 singles; Love You Right and One In A Million. Both singles went platinum and reached No.12 in the UK dance singles chart. Euphoria's third single Do For You was the longest running song in the top 5 for that year and received the annual Coca-Cola Pop Award for '93.

Euphoria brought with it valuable video, interview and photographic experience. Because of Euphoria’s ability to chart outside of pop radio support (it was successful enough to go to No. 1 solely through the power of nightclubs and the support of  DJs), this phenomena brought about the creation of the ARIA Dance Chart - something that did not exist before Euphoria made its mark on Australian music history!

Since her Euphoria days. Keren's work has been in high demand having appeared as a guest artist for corporate functions overseas, co-writing tracks for a jazz-funk album with Noel Elmoey, featuring on the Lifeline Passion For Life CD with legendary group 10cc and penning a dance track, Let’s Go that was released through a small, independent label and with virtually no promotion, the song made it into the Top 40!

With a myriad of new songs and that stirring, pure voice, expect dazzling things from Keren Minshull in the near future.

With the producing talents of Paul Wiltshire (Backstreet Boys, Anthony Callea), the highly anticipated album Lost & Found is the journey of a Melissa who has grown through lies, love, loss and glamour... Having co-written much of the album herself, Melissa's involvement is evident in the personal stories played out through the tracks and in the passion of Melissa's superb vocals... Lost & Found entered stores in December 2005 and was commended as an album to truly appeal to both old devotees and a whole new generation of fans.
